[at-l] What's "Trail Related"?

### You don't have any solutions? Yes, you do, Mr. Turtle. You and all the
other newbies who've gotten onto the at-l and pressed a trail-socializing
agenda in spite of what a few *other* newbies have slung about, and all
but a handful of at-l stalwarts have allowed. YOU (and dem like you) are
to be applauded.

### Me? Like CliffordHaynes(sp?) recent observation, I've been one of the
olde-timey moaners who've mostly sat idley by, and I've watched in great
frustration as the list (that I did not have time to participate in)
cycled downward. I am embarrassed by my silence, even if employment needs
dictated it. My *non*-moaning contributions have been few of late, but my
not speaking out regarding the flows of bullpucky has *really* grated on
me. If any of us olde timers had been in a leanto with this kind of
obnoxiousness, it *never* would have gotten this far along without
unanimous speaking out; the silence has been deafening. (Yes, at the same
time, some other stalwarts were *fueling* the fire. Let's let it go.)

### So who's speaking out? You are, and the other "newbies" (btw, what a
stupid term). You freely comment on "our" ever-contentiousness and your
desire to see it end, freely celebrate natural observations to which we
might otherwise have grown inured, and approach all things "trail related"
with the fresh eyes which the rest of us might otherwise lack. The newbies
shall inherit the list.

### So What's Trail-Related? Everything. But if you don't think the
relationship is perfectly clear, spell it out.

Cheers,
Sloetoe
