[at-l] Chemical Water Treatment

My dogs won't touch water with iodine so anything based on that is probably out
but I think I remember hearing that one of the chems was about to be approved
against crypto and giardia?  In any case, I'm really gonna take a serious 
attempt
at leaving the filter home next week.  Anyone have any input on non iodine
chems?  Thank you.
