[at-l] LOTR The Movie: The bad news.....

I don't remember Tolkien ever making elven bows magical. Rings, stones,
swords, daggers, cloaks, chain mail, okay. But bows? Please cite book,
chapter and line. And millennia? It is unclear to me exactly how much time
passed between the appearance of the firstborn at Cuivienen with the
subsequent Siege of Utumno, and the coming of men with the Rising of the Sun.
Could well be less than millennia. After all, it was only some 600 odd years
from the revolt of the Ngoldor to the breaking of Thangorodrim.

Without magical bows, Slowtoe still has a point. Although maybe they were so
good they could afford bad technique.
