You can also park at the beer store .5 towards Elk Park with permission from
the owner ( was called Vics market, name was supposed to change this year to
Trail Market ).  He also allows hikers to leave packs in the back room for
slackpacking to Dennis Cove if you arrange to have your pack picked up by
someone.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE OVERNIGHT WHERE THE A.T. CROSSES U.S. 19E.!  Many 
vehicles have been vandalized there each year. Mountain Harbour B&B in Roan 
Mountain, Tenn. (423-772-9494) now provides parking for hikers there.
