I am wondering how many other folks on this list DO feel like they are
"dancing to a different drummer."  Hikers seem, to me, to be a very special
breed of people.  Wherever they come from, there is a connection.  They are,
for the most part, seekers, dreamers and romantics.  Who here feels that
way?

When I leave the trail, I always feel like I have left a piece of "me"
there.
