I am planing a wimpy pair of overnighters with my Golden Retriever, Sam.
Against Medical Advice, I hope to go to Belter Campsite near Iron Bridge,
CT one night, and Ten Mile River from Bulls Bridge the next. Maybe 3 1/2 to
4 miles hiking total.  I haven't been out since before the operation and I
am going stir crazy.  The Surgeon said not to lift more than 15 lbs.  I'll
have to weigh my overnight kit and see just how bad a boy I will be.
