[at-l] Labor Day weekend

Red,

There's a great small tenting only campsite in the GSNP that only a mile up
the road from Mountain Momas, called Big Creek. It only has 12 spots with a
central parking area and a short walk to the tent sites, a privy and running
water (no shower). I'm not sure if they take reservations, but you may want
to look into it.

I camped here in the summer of '96 on my way to Florida on a move from
Massachusetts. I soon found out I was near the AT (2 miles) and later that
week met my first thru-hikers that had hiked the trail in '92. All sorts of
quick questions later I knew what I'd be doing the next spring.

Anyway, if I'm not working, I'll see you there!

Sly
