I left this line unsnipped cause I like to see that in print.....<VVVBG>

Sorry...but in my book, hiking from privy to privy is a civilized walk. I
recognize the need
for privies to protect the land because soooooo many people are using
it. But the fact
that sooooo many people are using it also makes it a minor adventure or in
your terms
a civilized walk. One of the hikers we supported this year left the AT
because he was
seeking adventure and wasn't finding it there. He said "the AT was great
and all, especially
the people, but it was just too linear for me". Further query brought out
that he felt it
was impossible to have an adventure in a place that was so organized and
"civilized" He
left the Trail and tried to have his adventure walking trails and back
roads, back to his home.
He didn't find adventure there either and my last contact with him was his
request for info
on the PCT.

Hmmm....is there no room for you to consider the difference between
commercials and information?
Can't there be some way to provide info without neon lights?

If you find the question tiring, point me to the answer and maybe I will
stop asking. Until I read that
a law has been passed or regulation approved that states what a thru must
be, the question
is up for debate. Of course even if such a law is passed, the question is
up for debate because
one of those Constitutional Amendments thingees say so.

The idea that asking a question is a way of _preventing_debate is bizarre....

I didn't snip this cause I am usually wise enough not to take insults,
intended to inflame me, to heart.
