[at-l] pissy lister list: finger pointing

I thought that was obvious in what I wrote.

Again, it humors me how some Listers feel they can get away with
professing that the List is open and no form of exclusionary thinking or
"banning" occurs when the above is an attempt at exactly that. It was said
that the campfire was an extension of the AT. You would think that persons
proclaiming a righteous intolerance of "elitist" thinking would be hesitant
to do the exact same thing on the next turn. This is the ATL double standard
I remarked on which probably inspired the above. I guess a direct violation
of forum rules is permissible if it's done for the right reasons.

Simply put, a conservation minded AT advocate asks the same question of
posters: "Why are you on the AT" if you promote incompatible usage's? The
response from ATL is a resounding indignant uproar of protest against
dictatorship, elitism etc. Meanwhile the same method used to steer the list
away from AT higher involvement for the purpose of enforcing a more trivial
outlook is quietly encouraged. There's a sort of defiant decadence I see in
that which registers as distasteful to me. I thought my post was civil. In
the meantime Snodrog's prize was not filtered or even listed as "pissy".
Somewhere a while back I remember someone questioning my credibility and
straightening me out on how the List operates. Hmmmmm?

By the way, I enjoy reading most of the ATL posts. And the violators you
mention are probably more guilty of being honest and accurate than
(pissy???)...

I think this topic has been covered enough for now. (But I'm always
willing to listen if somebody feels they have an important Trail matter to
address)
