Can those of us who do, offer a prayer for the safety of all people
and especially those on the Trail.  Today will be the fourth day with
heat indexes tickling 110.  If you can, check on any elderly you
care for, keep an eye on the kids and send cool thoughts to the
Trail.
I've spent much of these days training for something that will push
my limits and lemme tell ya.....just breathing 100 degree air pushes
my limits.....yeouw.....  Can't imagine being on the Trail.  John O
and I were talking about the SOBOers and NOBOers in PA and
and thinking of the Lehigh gap and the zinc wasteland and the Cumberland
Valley.  Jeeesh....Pa is a crummy place to hike in a heatwave......
