[at-l] (Guest Post) "so called"

Last year, on the Minuteman Bike Path in the Boston area, a series of Burma
Shave signs went up. I was pretty surprised and wondered how long they
would be up before they were removed. I think they were up for just a week
or two. I'm not sure exactly who has jurisdiction there but I do know that
the path was considered the nation's 200th Rail Trail.

Speaking of old wooden signs - and to make this AT related again, there's a
wonderful (non-advertisement) sign in VT (near Griffith lake, I think)
that's so faded most people probably don't stop to read it, but it says...

Walking on this
  bridge of rocks
Keeps the water
  from my socks

Too bad more of the signs out there weren't just as equally informative and
creative.
