I can't believe no one has picked up on this yet.

Jan Leitschuh has been on this list for some time now and originally
introduced herself with a cute trick of how to pronounce her name (Light
Shoe).

I hereby propose that we, as an online quorum of the AT-L Mailing List, in a
just and timely exercise of our prerogatives, bestow the trail name of
"Light Shoe" upon said Jan Leitschuh, to bear in dignity and honor as befits
an AT Thruhiker from this day forward.
