[at-l] Georgia Ruck 1/02



There is going to be a cost, regardless of the specific venue. I'd like
my wife to come, hence I am seeking a bit more mainstream hotel setting
such as the Lodge at the state park. I think something along this line
makes sense for Fla and GA hikers. Fontana has similar facilities and
cheaper rates, but is hard to get to. The prices quoted for the Lodge
and cabins isn't that far off of rates at Goose Creek, with more
reliable heat and water.

Again, this is a reason for lots of small RUCKs on a regional basis.
The small size should be less hassle for those attempting to organize
and figure out logistics. But it is always fun to have a gathering of a
few hundred of my best friends, some of whom I have met...
