id you make it down to Gooch Gap this weekend? The AJC indicates that 
the new shelter opened yesterday.


The new replacement shelter for Gooch Gap Shelter, is not open yep.

My Sister-in-law sent this to me:

"We didn't finish the construction as the article says, but will in the next 
week or two. Still have to put on the metal roof, finish the porch area, 
build the privey and picnic table."
