I took twelve 15 year olds girls on a 3-day hike June 19-22.
Just wanted to let you know they were the greatest.
They learned about the AT, LNT camping, water purity issues, =
cooperation, 1st aid, CPR and Astronomy, and much much more.=20
BUT you know what they do with their free time?
They pair off and Sumo Wrestle inside a 5x7 tent all night =
long--giggling included.
Then they paint beards and mustaches on their faces with charcoal from =
the fire pits.  It rained all night, and everything was wet but they =
laughed all night long.  They do not sleep.=20
They come away with wonderful memories. All want to do it again.=20
Oh to be young again..........Not!
