I've been a list subscriber for quite some time and am dismayed about =
the negativity that has started to flavor this forum. Ordinarily =
positive, helpful people on this list are getting sucked into the =
maelstrom. Several are threatening to unsubscribe. =20

I don't object to anyone's right to post here and always try to learn =
from the various opinions and points of view. But, this disrespect of =
people and name calling that are polluting our cyber AT is akin to the =
noxious fumes I encounter when crossing Newfound Gap at the height of =
tourist season.=20

I love lively debate. I just wish people would try to respect each other =
here and keep our discourse as civil and welcoming as the proverbial =
campfire gatherings on the Trail.=20
