[at-l] Boy Scouts...LNT?

This message is a bit dated and may be OBE.

However, "Conciensous leaders help a lot. Unfortunately, a lot of _them_
don't really have a clue." is so true and such a problem. BTW, I don't see
it as being much of an "age" thing -- and I am in my 60's. Nor do I see it
as being limited to "Scouts" -- Boy or Girl.

I have seen far too many "group leaders" and groups who are not
knowledgeable and have a "me/us first -- the rules don't apply to me/us"
attitude.

Somehow, we all need to get folk on board with the underlying LNT principles
of "Respect Wildlife" and "Being Considerate of Others." Then, once they
accept the ethic of respect and consideration help them work on the
application of those values in outdoors.
