I have eaten the MRE's and to say that there is anything worse to eat in
this world is to yell C-rations.   They are too heavy unless you break them
down because they contain lots of nonessential items, redundancy is nice if
you are an astronaut, and they do not taste good.  In my humble opinion
only.  Plus we called them LRRP's when I ate some of them.   The chili and
rice was the main one that I could stomach and they do come with a small
bottle of tabasco.
