Radioactive Blue Ridge
A USGS has found there is uranium in them thar hills
in the Blue Ridge.
The result is that the area has some of the highest
levels of radon in the
U.S.  Another problem for the Blue Ridge is that
poachers are stealing its
Ginseng plants.  NPS employees are dying the roots
orange to discourage
this.
