me too, if you can call pacing the halls of the hospital hiking....
Mother was rushed to hospital fri.passed out.
She is bleeding internally and had a hemoglobin
level/count of 5.2. There were surprised she made it
thru the night. Lots of blood and blood products
and med to reverse the kumadin (sp?) clot preventer
that she has been on since her stroke. Maybe today
she will be stable enough so that they can try and find
the source of the bleed. If they can fix it, she may be able
to resume the thinning therapy to prevent strokes.
This is important because the valve they put in her heart
collects blood and throws off clots.
life is short and hard.
