Torn cartilage (removed in 1976) and acl, left knee

Fractured patella, right knee, Fractured left femur and ankle (car
accident) oh yeah, dislocated jaw too, but don't normally walk on that 
;-).

Surgury April 10 to remove large bone fragment from left knee - lots of
missing articular cartilage in there.  I'm told if I can hold out 10 more
years, I can have a total knee replacement.  My doc would not dare to tell
me not to hike (she did caution against snowboarding anymore though - fat
chance!).

Hey, it's just walking, right?
