I talked to Baltimore Jack at Trail Days.  
He said his foot was broken.. he had a small
splint-type cast on it.  Don't know if broken means,
broken, or "fractured", or whatever else.  IMO, if
his foot was broken, he wouldn't be able to walk
on it... who knows... he said "broken" though.

He was walking around with a pretty good limp all
weekend, so something is certainly screwed up in
the foot.

AFAIK, he is staying on the trail, he said he was
100 miles behind schedule... he was 50 miles from
Damascus before Trail Days and he had planned on being
50 miles past it at that point.
