Hey Gang,

Yes I own a cell phone, but it is never turned on.  I use it for
emergencies as I commute 50 miles each way to work.  I travel to
Massachusetts several times a year.  I have an old van.  I also take it
on back packing trips, and I have used it only at the end of the trips. 
My Van has a sticker on it say 'You could drive a lot better if you had
that cell phone shoved up your.."  I just wanted to point out that it may
be a good idea to carry a phone especially if you are a leader of a group
outing.  I respect everyone's views on the matter, I was just stating my
own.
