[at-l] need sleeping bag advice

I'd go with a 20 degree bag and a fleece "liner" summer bag combination.
Most fleece bags will go to 50 degrees or so, and will add to your "winter"
bag's warmth, although they are bulky. I'd encourage you to look at down
for the winter bag for light weight, compressibility and warmth. Everyone
has an opinion on this, and you would do well to try it out this year while
you have a chance. Spend the bucks on the down, and go to Target or similar
spot for the fleece bag. You might want to see if Patagonia starts making a
fleece bag out of the new more compressible fleece material, but expect it
to be much more expensive.

I have a 0F Western Mountaineering Puma bag (down and very light and very
expensive) and a $20 Target fleece bag when I don't just bring a fleece
blanket on summer hikes.
