Silicone goo can be used straight, or thinned with alcohol or similar
solvent. Personally, I use it straight and make a thin layer on both
sides as if it were contact cement. You can use thick layers to bridge
a hole or reinforce an attachment (as Kurt does with the spreader
holders). I suspect you could make a contrasting color to really
empower the creative Heloise in you.
