I did that on my March Forth snowtravaganza. It was a greenish buttery
sludge that turned to oil quite quickly. I keep 4-6 oz of oilive oil in
my ready to hike food bag in my freezer, awaiting my urge to stroll. It
has never been a problem on thawing, and I always know where it can be
found.
