Actually the worse rocks are north of the Delaware Water Gap. Yes, PA gas
rocks, it just that the north bounders really don't run into rocks until
they reach PA.  By the time they get to NJ they are use to them.  Worst
rocks?  .5 mile south of Panama, South of 501, Lehigh River Gap,
Tricounty Corner, Bake Oven knob.  If you really want to see the worst of
the PA rocks hike the Mid state Trail.  As an added attraction that trail
has no water.  The Black forest trail has very few rocks and two
excellent trout streams.  Hmmm a new thread, light weight fly rods for
backpacking.
