[at-l] PA sections

In my humble opinion, the section south (west) of Kirkridge Shelter to Wind
Gap -- what you describe as the Wolf Rocks area -- has the most annoying PA
rocks. They are small and pointy and impossible to avoid. Other sections
have large rocks that are difficult to get around but not as hard on the
feet. The little pointy rocks between Tri-County Corner and Allentown
shelter are close runners up in annoyance factor, but they're only really
bad for a mile or so.

So, again in my opinion only, you've already seen the worst of it. I don't
find the PA rocks bad at all, but my perspective as a lightweight
weekend/section hiker is different from that of a thru-hiker with already
sore feet and 22 miles to cover, or a weekender bringing 70 pounds of modern
conveniences two miles or so from the trail head.

And different from my wife's perspective. Her comments about the PA rocks
are most certainly not for family viewing, so I shall sign off for now...
