Jack you have missed to whole point! WF wants EVERYONE to PROVE that they 
hiked the whole trail. So if that is what he wants then he should PROVE that 
HE has hiked to whole on very one of his hikes.

The way that ATC gives out the 2000 milers. Is the way, it should be done. If 
someone wants to lie about have hiked the trail, so what! He/she does not 
take away from my hikes of the AT.
