Welcome.....grab a smashmallow and have a seat...I really don't know
what the proportion of through-hikers to section-hikers is here...not
that it matters: there are probably folks here that have learned more
about the various sections of the AT and it's flora, fauna and geology
by day-hiking than some of us did by walking from one end to the
other....
