[at-l] snakes

I saw about 10 copperheads in all, mostly in PA, and
some in northern VA. Ughy. They never bothered me,
though. I made such a ruckus with my hiking poles and
my constant rendering of the LSU fight song, that the
snakes generally slithered the other way when I
approached.

We did see a baby copperhead at ... where was it ...
something Pinnacle in Pennsylvania (I'm mighty tired
tonight)... and that was purty neat. He was a skinny
little thing.

I also saw a lot of black snakes. They were polite as
can be, and usually moved off the trail before I got
to them.

Nothing ever bit me, though. Except the mosquitoes and
the black flies, but that's another story ...
