Yo, AT Hikers, North Georgia is experiencing some "wicked" weather tonight (3/19/01).  It's 8:30 pm and it's sleeting.  Expecting snow at elevations above 2500 feet.  The wind is blowing with gusts from the WSW at 29 mph and up.

I imagine it's snowing farther north already.

If you know anyone on the Trail, send warm thoughts their way.
