i found the narrower the pack and taller it is the more comfotable.

food is prolly the heaviest hign you will carry besides water. make sure
that is very close to you back... i alwasy see people hunched over with
gear stickign out a few feet... try to make your pack and slim against your
back as possible and tall... for some reason which i can not explain the
load feels ALOT Better when it is up high. you feel more floaty then
sluggish :)

makign it narrow seemed at least with me to allow more air to circulate on
my back. making it much less sweaty. well ok who am i trygin to kid it is
still jsut as sweaty BUT it "tends" to dry faster.

as for your water bladder. i foudn on keeping it high up and VOID OF AIR
BUBBLES to be best.. make sure you dont have water sloshing aroudn
momoentum is a bad thing. i normaly places it on top on my pack contents. i
have a top loading pack and just put it in last. as for the top pouch i put
snacks maps and nothign really major up in that thing. i used it for stuff
i might need. and tryied to keep it loose and stuff.
