[at-l] 5th Ave Trail report

It was a grand struggle indeed!  Apoligize to anyone who went looking for the "Trail Angels" at the chess and checkers house as they moved the *hostel* to the 66 St Armory near the zoo and behind the reviewing stand, a wonderful old place with lots of NYC history.  
Well the *hike* was awesome forgot about the "green blaze" that goes up the middle of the *trail* just had to follow that right to the end didn't even need a trail guide.  Had to blue blaze back South for a mile and a half but well worth it, feasted on Corned Beef, cabbage, spuds, Shepards Pie and many tasty beverages like Irish coffee, Guinness and Bud. Music and dancing and the usual war stories, a splendid time for all. 
Took the train back over to Queens looked back to the Emoire State Bldg. all lit up in green, what a great day!
Back at the Ez pad now taking it ez what else!
