[at-l] Are you a loner?



No, you're not crazy!  Winter camping/hiking is the perfect time for
complete solitude.  If its *really* cold (like a couple of weekends ago)
then you are absolutely guaranteed to be alone.  The trees are bare, the
stars are bright, the bugs are gone, everything is quiet.  All you hear is
the wind rustling the empty branches, the sound of your own heartbeat, maybe
the bubbling of a stream [and a @&$#! occasional jet if you're anywhere near
Atlanta!].
