Ayup, that is most definitely true.
Both are excellent bags. However, I think the FF bags were designed by
people who are part Polar Bear!!!
After this season, I plan on adding two more inches of loft to my
Hummingbird, being a cold sleeper I think it will be a wise investment.
And, after looking at Terry's bag with the extra down, I can see the
difference!
One other caveat about FF, their customer service leaves somethings to be
desired. Had a bag temporarily lost, and take two or three months to get
back to me!
In the "if I had to do it again" category, think I would have went with a
WM bag only because they are more conservative with their ratings.
Again, both are excellent bags... Kinda like a BMW vs a Mercedes.. After
3000 or so miles, my bag still lofts up and I do not regret having spent
the money for such a high quality bag.
