[at-l] internet access

Hi Vic,

I found Internet access at public libraries along the
Trail to be plentiful, even in the little tiny towns.
People all along the Trail were friendly and helpful
at the public libraries I visited.

Note there is a 'Net Nanny' bad word catcher running
on the computers at the Front Royal, Virginia public
library which I accidently set off. When seeing a bad
word on-screen, the Net Nanny automatically sets off a
hooting alarm to identify the culprit to the general
public at-large, performs a shutdown of the computer
and won't let it boot up without the okay of a library
supervisor. Talk about an electronic Scarlet Letter!

Mr. Fustus came over and I got 'the look' when I
explained the mistake, how it wouldn't happen again
and then I asked Mr. Fustus to allow the computer to
start up again.

It's when he said to me, "Okay Mr. McGillicuddy, but
this is the last time..." that I truly felt thankful
for receiving one more chance to be a good boy.

PS: There are few public libraries in Pennsylvania
towns for some reason.
