[at-l] Avalanche Danger....



...In my driveway.  Probably in Tuckerman's too for that matter.

Avalanches are caused by more snow piling up on top of unstable snow. 
So the now 6ft high walls of snow bordering my driveway are (were) 
piled onto the 26" of snow on the ground this AM (at 750ft).  I 
started my car, and one whole side just slid right back down onto the 
drive.  Not a big problem, though, it's still falling so fast, I 
can't keep the drive cleared anyway.  I wonder where I'll put 
Saturday's snow....

The weird thing is I think my crocus are starting to come up under 
all that stuff.  Hope they don't bloom 'till I can see 'em.

Enjoy, don't pack up the sneaux shoes yet.
