I'd be a little hesitant to use Consumer Report's suggestion on hiking
gear.  But, that is just me...

BTW, The Campmor house brand used to be made by Red Ledge. Not sure if
they still make the Campmor house brand of shells.  I do know that Red
Ledge came out with a new rain jacket realtively recently that has gotten
high accolades for being light and breathable...
