[at-l] Anyone willing to drive a car that isn't their own?

Are your planning on walking to Fontana in 11 days? Possibly including
the approach trail?!?!

While it can be done, I'd strongly check your legs and supratentorial
synaptic integrity. Putting yourself on a tight schedule like that
could make this a very tough walk. I met one hiker who claimed such a
feat last year, but she had extensive hiking experience
internationally. She regularly chewed up 20+ mile days, avoided stops
other than very brief resupply, and preferred to hike alone.

I am sure that we can find someone willing to shuttle your car, as I've
similarly found at least one shuttle for my 110 - 130 mile 10 day trip
toward Erwin, TN (Redhead, you got your computer back up?)

I won't be back from my trip to pick up your car, but could drive it to
Fontana by that date. You might be best to look for a shuttle from
Atlanta (for instance) to Springer, and leave the car with someone to
shuttle by your date. Or better yet, to meet you where ever you wind up
by March 23.

Have a good, fun and safe walk!
