My landlady is from Taiwan originally. Had the chance  to try some and
was actually  very tasty, and would make a great trail food. Mmmm

Growing up, actually had squid (baked stuffed squid every Xmas
eve..yummy!)  quite a bit, so the idea of trying dried squid was not that
repugnant.
