I second Anklebear. We stayed there overnight during a week's hike back in
'97. We rented a private room and did some rafting the next day. Had a
blast. We were there with a bunch of thru-hikers we'd been hiking with on
and off for several days. The food was good, the showers hot, and everyone
had  a good time. We had to hitch to a store to resupply, but it wasn't a
huge problem.

Be careful crossing the road though. Sometimes those big trucks roar
through.
