soap stars,
If this makes anyone out there angry, they cannot be half as angry as I am
right now. This list is a place for teaching and learning proper outdoor
behavior.  Please learn for the sake of others.  Bathing, hairwashing,
dishwashing, washing clothes, toothbrushing, dogs drinking in springs &
streams pollutes the water.

How stupid!  Don't ya'll know from the same streams & springs where you do
these things you also drink; unless you have another source out there. I
don't.
Please carry some water off in the distance to do this cleaning stuff.

If your biodegradable soap is so harmless then drink it.  You don't seem to
mind me having to drink it downstream.

I've seen hikers who do the right thing even with Fido, he brings a dish
from which Fido drinks. But then it's much easier to teach a dog than a
human.
