Heck, Mara, I stepped outside into the parking lot of my apartment and watched it take off at 6:12...big plume against a clear sky during sunset, with a full moon as backdrop...saw the fuel tanks drop off...way cool. First shuttle launch I've seen since 1984. Cheers, Navigator (who lives 40 miles from the launch pad)
