[at-l] Mt Washington and Gorman NH

Feb. 6, 2001
Observer's Comments:8pm: The snow storm has passed over, and winds picked up
today with a peak at 110mph. Snowfall totals around the state came in at 7 to
40 inches. Twenty-two inches at Pinkham Notch left them at 47 inches on the
ground at of 6am this morning. And 28 inches of new snow in Tuckerman's
Ravine left them with a whopping 70.5 as of this morning as well as extreme
certainty of current avalanche danger. A Snocat trip scheduled for earlier
today turned around at about half-way due to near zero visibility amidst
severe blowing snow above deep drifts which leaves us wondering about shift
change for tomorrow... Katie Hess - MWO Observer

On the weather channel, they said that Gorham, NH got 28" of snow.
