[at-l] Lost Wages, Nevada

I appears I'll be in sin city for 36hrs in March on business--really! 
I think I'll have a half day or so before the plane leaves.  Anyone 
able to recommend a good day hike?  Would prefer a place of interest 
rather than just desert(s)....but I have to be able to get back to 
the airport in a reasonable amount of time.

Also an inexpensive (but not too seedy) motel nearish to the Bellagio 
would be helpful.  Any recs?
