[at-l] Mouse ingenuity
Very funny Mr Slowness. Thanks for the chuckle. Here's a picture of what I
saw that day prior to the murders.

### If I find a mouse trap in a shelter, I bait/set it even before I
get
water. Yes, there's no small amount of satisfaction to hearing that
"THWACK" go off, and the more you can get done early in the night,
the
quieter your night will be. But I have concerns about taking
foodstuffs
away from any predator snakes in the area, so I'm genuinely
conflicted
about hitting the local meese population and then starving the
longer-term
predator residents.....
'Course, I've been known to put the trophies out on
voiceover Os-ten-TA-shus DIS-play, so'as not to put them out of reach
for
potential diners, but some [humans] have expressed squeamishness
about
that sort of thing.
(Reminds me of this time... I don't know... back a bit, I think it
was
somewhere in Vermont... .... ... we'd just left the shelter when, just
as
we get around the corner, we hear in back of us "EEEEK! EEK! EEWWW!
OH!
YUKKK!!! OHHHHH!"
I sent the kids back around the corner and they said some woman was
there,
hopping up and down right over the mice we'd so carefully laid out,
smacking her backside and spinning all around in an Irish jig. Scared
my
kids half to death.)
Honest.
