[at-l] The word, Privy

I grew up hearing the word "privy" and "w-c" or "water-closet" used interchangeably, referencing what Americans call a "bathroom" at home or the "lavatory" at school; and the word "out-house" at my home meant what on the AT gets called a "privy" . . . a funny euphemism to me because it's also often used to refer to someone "in the loop" so to speak, as in "He was privy to all of Victoria's secrets."
