Wanted you experienced GoreTexed boot posters (and posters gearing up) to
know that I am following this thread with acute attention. On the Long
Trail this past summer, with me boysenberries' boots/feet suffering
soakings multiple times a day, and them living cheerfully with
soaked/wrinkled/stinking feet for two uninterrupted WEEKS, I will be
outfitting them with gaitors and POSSIBLY Goretex boots for this summer's
hikie. Please, if you've not posted and have an opinion, post away.
