I bought a piece of tyvek and used it as groundcloth for my entire
thruhike, and have continued using the same piece since... still going
strong.  I also brought along a little piece to put inside the tent and put
my dirty, muddy boots on so the floor didn't get wet/dirty.  Worked like a
charm.
